Our green credentials

Sustainability and operating environmentally-friendly holiday accommodation is important to us to help maintain this beautiful part of the world.

New Galloway Holiday Cottages have been designed and built around a biomass boiler system. Eco-friendly cleaning products are used during changeover and these are stocked in the village shop as well. We use a green energy supplier and there are LED lights throughout both Stroan and Skerrow.

There are recycling facilities at both holiday cottages and glass recycling is available in the village.

EV-Charging points

There are plenty of electric vehicle charging spaces at the village car park, just across the road and a short distance down the hill from our holiday cottages.
